An excellent place to stay if you would like a peaceful and tranquil visit. Our large garden is varied and interesting with a courtyard garden, Japanese garden, stream garden and copse. Many wildflowers flourish in the garden and on our field with Marsh Orchids particularly attractive. The views are extensive and usually have sheep or cattle in the fields beyond the stream. It is a place to relax and enjoy the peace.
Avril and Mike Flanagan welcome you to our home. We are close to the centre of the beautiful and historic village of Sampford Courtenay and have plenty of parking space. The Garden Barn is separate from the house and approached through our courtyard garden. Visitors are welcome to explore our large garden and enjoy the views. People often comment on how quite and relaxing it is. We are a short walk from the New Inn, which provides excellent food and drink. Weirford House is ten minutes from the A30 and close to North Tawton and Dartmoor. Okehampton is about 4 miles away.
Dogs can be accommodated by arrangement. They are allowed in the sitting room with their own bedding and should be on a lead outside, for the sake of our cats!

Our Garden Barn is detached from the house and accessed across the courtyard garden. The Garden Barn provides peaceful self-contained and secluded family accommodation for up to four people. It has a sitting room with cooking and dining facilities. There is a separate bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa bed which sleeps an additional two people when required. It is fully equipped for up to four people and has Superfast WiFi, TV etc. The Garden Barn has its own garden with BBQ and seating area. Visitors are also welcome to explore the main garden and meadow. It is available for Self Catering or for Bed and Breakfast. A 13 Amp charging point for electric cars is situated in the parking area.
